Small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) play a vital role in driving economic growth and development. However, they often face unique challenges in managing their finances, navigating complex tax regulations, and implementing effective business strategies. To address these challenges, Tapasya Business Management Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with the Nepal Agricultural Market Programme (NAMDP), organized a comprehensive training program focused on accounting, business management, and taxation.
The training program aimed to equip SMEs with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their business operations. With a total of 304 participants from 10 municipalities across 9 districts, the program successfully delivered practical solutions tailored to the specific needs of SMEs in the agricultural sector.

Account management (day books, ledgers, bills, sales/purchase accounts, income/expenditure accounts)
Understanding tax provisions and types of taxes (PAN, VAT, income tax)

By providing a solid foundation in these crucial areas, the training program empowered SMEs to effectively manage their finances, comply with tax regulations, and develop strategic business plans for growth and success. The interactive nature of the training sessions, incorporating practical activities and group discussions, ensured maximum engagement and learning among the participants.
