In an ever-evolving agricultural landscape, the need for financial literacy, effective business management, and taxation understanding is crucial for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to thrive. Recognizing this, Tapasya Business Management Pvt Ltd organized a series of impactful training programs aimed at empowering Agri-SMEs across different municipalities. These events focused on equipping local entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge, fostering long-term sustainability and economic growth in their regions.

The "Accounting Management and Taxation Training" in Katari, Udayapur, was designed to address the specific needs of SMEs, traders, and processors in the agricultural sector. The program commenced with a formal orientation facilitated by prominent figures like Mayor Rajesh Chandra Shrestha, Deputy Mayor Geeta Khadka, and Administrative Officer Anil Kiratee, who emphasized the importance of training for successful business operations. Covering a range of critical topics such as registration processes, accounting management, and taxation, the training provided practical insights into business planning and marketing. The successful conclusion of the program marked a new beginning for the participating Agri-SMEs, equipping them with tools to foster competitiveness and sustainability, contributing to the broader economic landscape of Koshi Province.

From November 3rd to 5th, 2023, the training initiative extended to Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality, Okhaldhunga, where 30 participants from Manebhanjyang and Siddicharan Municipalities engaged in comprehensive training. Led by expert trainers Shreyak Tuladhar and Sachina Subedi, the sessions covered essential topics such as business registration, accounting, internal auditing, and the Social Security Fund, among others. Guest speakers from Prime Commercial Bank, including Branch Manager Phanindra Phuyal and Loan Department Head Saroj Pokhrel, provided valuable insights into the banking loan process, offering a practical perspective on accessing financial support. The event, managed by Training Manager Karishma Dhakal and Event Coordinator Subash Khadka, was well-received, highlighting the relevance and effectiveness of the program in empowering local businesses.

In Arjundhara, Jhapa, the Sanischare training emphasized the importance of solid business fundamentals for local entrepreneurs. Facilitated by experts such as Miss. Anita Bista and Priyanka Khadka, along with trainers Suman Pokhrel and Shreyak Tuladhar, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of accounting management and taxation. The program, which also covered business planning and marketing, was praised by local authorities, including Deputy Mayor Khadga Maya Parajuli, who expressed gratitude to the organizers. The training equipped the participants with practical tools to enhance their business practices, setting them up for long-term success in the competitive market.

In Birtamod Municipality, Jhapa, the "Accounting, Business Management, and Taxation Training" took place from December 1st to 2nd, 2023, with 25 participants actively engaging in the sessions. The program covered a wide range of topics, including business registration, taxation, and the banking loan process, ensuring a holistic learning experience. Local leaders such as Deputy Mayor Nagendra Prasad Sangroula and Agri Technical Officer Rajendra Kadariya, along with trainers Kedar Sharma and Pratikshya Adhikari, played a pivotal role in the event’s success. Despite the compressed timeframe, the training effectively delivered the necessary knowledge and skills, highlighting the importance of financial literacy and business management in fostering economic growth in the region.

Finally, from December 8th to 10th, 2023, Kankai Municipality, Jhapa, hosted the training program for 35 entrepreneurs, focusing on accounting, business management, and taxation. Trainers Kriti Ghimire and Puja Shah ensured participants grasped the complex topics through interactive teaching methods. The event also featured insights from guest speaker Yogendra Kumar Khatri, Branch Manager of Agriculture Development Bank, Surunga, providing participants with practical knowledge on accessing financial support. Managed by Training Manager Karishma Dhakal and supported by volunteers Pooja Giri and Roshna Dangi, the event received praise for its thoroughness and relevance to the local business environment.

These training programs across various municipalities have demonstrated the transformative power of knowledge and capacity building in rural communities. The success of these initiatives underscores the importance of empowering local entrepreneurs with the skills they need to thrive in today’s competitive business environment.
